Prohibited products & acceptable use

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1.Products prohibited for sale

You may not use https://shopyx.org or SHOPYX services to offer, sell, promote or facilitate the sale of illegal goods or services, regulated items without authorisation, or items that pose a serious risk to people’s safety. Prohibited items include, without limitation: • narcotics, illicit substances and related products; • weapons, ammunition, explosives and combat equipment; • goods linked to human trafficking or exploitation; • child sexual abuse material; • stolen, forged or fraudulently obtained goods; • protected animals, human organs or substances; • any product whose sale is banned or strictly regulated in Tunisia or the destination country without the required licences. Merchants remain solely responsible for the legality of their catalogue and related claims.

2.Misleading health claims

You may not present a product or service with misleading, exaggerated or unsubstantiated health, therapeutic or cosmetic claims. In particular, the following are prohibited: • promising to cure, diagnose or prevent a disease without basis and outside the applicable legal framework; • medicalised claims intended to mislead consumers; • abusive use of wording such as “miracle”, “100% effective”, or equivalent, when it does not match the product. SHOPYX may require removal or amendment of product pages, landings or ads concerned.

3.Counterfeiting

You may not sell, display or promote counterfeit products, illegal copies, or any goods that infringe third-party intellectual property rights (trade marks, designs, copyright). Merchants warrant they hold the rights needed to sell their products and content. Credible reports of counterfeiting may lead to immediate suspension of products or the account, without prejudice to rights holders’ remedies.

4.Sanctions (removal, suspension)

If these rules are breached or the platform is used unacceptably, SHOPYX may, depending on severity and without prior notice when safety or legality requires it: • remove or hide products, pages or content; • temporarily suspend access to all or part of the service; • terminate the merchant account; • report facts to competent authorities when required by law. These measures apply without compensation and without prejudice to the terms of use and commercial terms. To report suspicious content or catalogues: hello@shopyx.org.
